Moving on from green leafy vegetables. We have other vegetables, some of which we see around us like peppers, carrots, cucumbers, tomatoes, cabbage, lettuce, broccoli, cauliflower, kale, spinach, okra, beetroot, onions, garlic, mushroom, corn etc....in all shapes, sizes and colours. Most are easily accessible and affordable while some others are not.
They are all loaded with essential vitamins and minerals that the body needs. Some contain oils, while others contain carbohydrates. There are those that contain proteins too. All the classes of food are found in vegetables! What a blessing!!!
PS. Do you know that tomatoes are considered as fruits by some? Go figure! š§
