FACTS ABOUT INTROVERT PEOPLE

1. They can talk and chat openly even cråck jokes with you on social media but in real life they are ice😩

2. They fit pass you for road and no go do like sey dem see you. They can stay indoors for weeks without minding🤦‍♀️

3. Very calculative, clíngy, little touch of hôt tēmper, rōmäñtic with the one they love. They hārdly fåll in love but once they fāll, it's over because they don't joke with that person😘

4. They hārdly chêāt 💯. Before you see them, dem don see you(so sensitive). They can read people's mind before you could say it, they rarely have friends and associate in any activities, always not comfortable staying in a place full of people and always like staying alone👌🏽.

5. They hārdly talk in the midst of people but talkatíve when they are with their love ones.
People usually see them as too proūd people but they are not.

90 percent or more of Igbo given names have “Chukwu” (God) in them. Or “Chi” for short, or “Nna” referring to God the Father. This is an ancient Igbo tradition that shows our people’s dependence on God’s guidance. May we not bring infamy to the loving Father whose name we bear.

I remember the day I walked across the Edmund Pettus Bridge in Selma holding John Lewis’s hand. Barack, my mom, our girls, and so many remarkable civil rights heroes were right by our side—and we could feel the electricity in the air.

Of course, this was not the first time that Congressman Lewis had crossed that bridge. He had crossed 50 years before fighting for the right to vote—knowing the dangers he would face when he made it to the other side, but understanding that the work was bigger than him. He helped change history that day, and we are all so much better off because of it.

The best way we can honor Congressman Lewis’ legacy is by continuing his fight. That’s why I hope you’ll take the time to learn more about When We All Vote, an organization I founded that is working to make sure that no voice goes unheard.
