Documented vision strengthens your foundation.
This stayed with me in church today
And it hit me differently because at the beginning of this month, I heard clearly.
Ideas. Direction. Things I knew I was meant to do.
I even wrote them down.
But somewhere in the middle of the month,
I forgot.
Not because it wasn’t important.
But because I didn’t go back to it.
And that made me realize something:
It’s not enough to receive direction.
You have to revisit it.
You have to stay connected to it.
And that’s one thing this journey is teaching me deeply about.
Documenting is not just about content.
It’s about alignment. Because when you document:
Your thoughts
Your process
Your growth
Your vision
You create something you can return to.
Something that reminds you
when you feel lost
When you feel unsure
when you feel like stopping
And it’s not random that I heard this again today.
It felt like confirmation. Because right now;
I’m building something I’ve never built before.
I’m doing it afraid.
I’m figuring it out as I go.
But one thing I’ve done right is documenting it.
And now I have something to go back to.
Something to reflect on.
Something that strengthens me.
The Bible says:
“Write the vision and make it plain that all who read, may run with it ”
Because what you don’t document, you can forget.
And what you forget you can’t build with.
So as we step into a new week, I want to challenge you:
Don’t just think about what you want to do.
Write it.
Document it.
Return to it.
Start that skill
Build your personal brand
Create your content
Grow what you’ve been called to build
And document your journey.
Because one day that documentation becomes direction.
And maybe even something that helps others start too.
If you’ve been following this journey and you want to do this with me
I’m putting something together to guide you through it.
Let’s keep taking flight 🫱🏽🫲🏾
Follow. Share. And start documenting your journey today.
Happy Sunday.
