*NOT ALL HELPERS COME WITH CASH*… *SOME COME WITH KEYS*
One of the greatest misconceptions many people have in life is this:
“If you want to help me, give me money.”
Ah! If life were that simple, even ATMs would be destiny helpers.
But hear this truth that may shift your perspective forever:
Not all your helpers are sent to fund you… some are sent to position you.
In the Bible, when Joseph interpreted dreams in prison, nobody gave him money. Not one naira, not one shekel.
But one man… just one… remembered him.
And that remembrance connected him to a throne.
Imagine if Joseph had said:
“Oga, no cash? Abeg shift.”
History would have shifted too.
Some helpers don’t carry wallets…
They carry doors.
They won’t dash you ₦50,000… but they will introduce you to someone who can change your life in 5 minutes.
They won’t sponsor your project… but they will give you a platform where your gift speaks so loudly that sponsors start chasing you.
Let’s be honest—if David was waiting for somebody to “bless him financially,” Goliath would still be insulting Israel till tomorrow morning.
What he got instead was an opportunity—a battlefield.
Not comfortable, but transformational.
Sometimes, your destiny helper will look like:
A recommendation, not a donation
A mention, not money
A connection, not cash
A stage, not a stipend
And if you lack discernment, you may reject the very person God sent to elevate you.
Even Moses didn’t receive money from Jethro… he received wisdom and structure—and that advice saved him from burnout and collapse.
Tell me, what is money compared to divine strategy?
Here’s the wisdom: Stop measuring help only by what enters your pocket.
Start valuing what expands your possibilities.
Because:
Money solves problems temporarily
Connections create opportunities permanently
Let’s say it the Nigerian way:
Some people are not your “alert givers”…
They are your “life changers in disguise.”
Don’t insult your destiny because it didn’t come with a bank alert sound.
Final Thought:
Pray not just for helpers who give…
Pray for helpers who open doors you cannot open by yourself.
Because one introduction can do what years of struggle cannot.
May you not miss your helpers, because they didn’t look like your expectations, in Jesus mighty name !
