Why You Should Start A Pig Farm

🔷Pigs Multiply very fast. One sow( mature female pig) can farrow ( give birth to) between 8 and 18 piglets at a time.
Gestation ( pregnancy) period for pigs is just four months and sows can farrow up to two times a year.

🔷 Pigs yield more meat when they are slaughtered unlike cattle, sheep and goat.

🔷 Short generation interval between breeding, raising and harvesting.

🔷The Pig has more taste buds that enabled it to eat everything edible to man and other animals.

🔷 Pigs can easily adapt to most environmental conditions. As long as they have a proper ventilation and housing fences.

🔷 The Pig possesses a big storage of food,The f***s from pigs is rich in nutrients. Pig f***s make good fertilizer for crops.

From the above reasons a farmer can start with only two animals and end up with several animals within a short period of time

Most countries in the world are thinking of reforms that will improve the well-being and wellness of their citizens. I can't say such about Nigeria.

High cost of feeds, both poultry and fish.

Fuel is around 1,200 in our location.

No light, in fact there isn't a single electric power cable I this community.

Garri price is going above the roof.

Same with other food items.

Now even the small money we we get for account, bank will start to charge cyber security levy.

May God Help Us All.

Nigeria's Agriculture is in a very bad situation right now.

Imagine climate change are affecting crops because no rain, you then decide to set up irrigation for your farm (for those who can actually afford it). Your water pump or borehole will definitely be using petrol.

To buy a litre of petrol is now N1,200, when you harvest the same crops how much will you be selling it?

Your profit is long gone.
Is this really how they want us to be doing agriculture?

The most annoying thing is - No one is even saying anything from the Agric ministry. Everywhere and everyone is just keeping quiet. Yet the youth are forming vawulence gang on X.

Whenever the rich wants to get richer, the make use of the poor as a vehicle. Young people that are suppose to speak out and demand better governance from their leaders are fighting on Twitter for people with dual citizenship.

Just prepare yourself for hunger Promax this year, if you can't afford the price of certain food items. Better enter farm make you self see the shege we've been seeing for sometime now.
