Part 2 of Kaima’s birthday baking class…
CUPCAKE DECORATING!
This was where the serious work started because every child suddenly became a professional cake decorator.
We mixed our buttercream, shared out the cupcakes and each child got half a dozen to decorate and take home.
And let me tell you… these children came READY! 🤣 Everybody had an opinion. Everybody wanted to pipe their own way. So it was “Aunty, look!” “Aunty, is this okay?” “Aunty, I can do it myself!” “Aunty, she’s doing it wrong!”...plenty CHAOS! 😂😂
I held their hands, guided them through the piping and watched them proudly create their own little masterpieces. Then we finished everything off with sprinkles and chocolate stones.
One little Oga, however, got to a point where he looked at me and basically said, “I’m tired. I’m not doing again.” 🤣 and he went home!😂 and one madam refused to carry her cupcake to take pictures🤣
Honestly, this class was such a beautiful mess. Watching them get excited, make mistakes, correct themselves and proudly say, “Look what I made!” was everything.❤️
