Guess who left her new space at 11:45PM… fixing furniture, cleaning the restroom and making sure everything was ready? 😂
ME! 🙋🏽‍♀️

Because sometimes, the dream doesn't look glamorous while you're building it.

It looks like tired feet.
It looks like late nights.
It looks like cleaning, arranging, fixing and doing things yourself.
It looks like showing up even when nobody is clapping yet.

But every single time I get tired, I remember where I started.

From my kitchen… to a walk-in cake store. ❤️

There were times I reached out for help and none came. But God kept giving me the strength, wisdom and grace to keep moving.

Last night, even though I was exhausted, I smiled because this is the kind of tiredness I prayed for. 😭🙏🏽

From My Kitchen to Here ❤️

There was a time when EBONYCAKES ELIHAN AND CATERING was nothing more than an idea, a dream, and a prayer whispered from my kitchen. 🥹

I started from that little space, baking cakes and preparing food with the little I had. There were times I gave out cakes and food for events for free, not because I had everything, but because I wanted people to know what God had placed in my hands.

I reached out for help. I asked. I hoped someone would come through for me… but many times, no help came.

And honestly, there were moments I wondered, “God, when will my own time come?” 😭

But today, I look around and I can only say:

GOD DID IT. 🙏🏽

From my kitchen… to a dream of having a walk-in cake store.
From giving out cakes and food… to building something I once thought was impossible.
From starting with almost nothing… to standing at the beginning of something much bigger.

I may not have had the support I prayed for, but I had God. And somehow, He kept giving me strength to keep going.

This shop is not just a shop to me.
It is a testimony.
It is proof that when God decides to lift you, He doesn't need everybody to agree with your journey.

And now… we are about to reveal just how far God has brought EBONYCAKES ELIHAN AND CATERING. 🥹💚

This is only the beginning.
The story is still being written.
And I know the best chapters are yet to come.

If God can bring me this far, He can take you wherever He has promised to take you too. Don't give up on your dream. ❤️

Yesterday was truly special to me, and I just want to say THANK YOU. ❤️

To everyone who called, sent messages, posted me, prayed for me, celebrated me, gave me gifts, and took out time to make my birthday beautiful — I am deeply grateful.

I may not be able to respond to every single message the way I would love to, but please know that I saw it, I felt it, and I appreciate it. Every prayer, kind word, gift and expression of love touched my heart.

Father, I thank You for the gift of life and for bringing me into another year.

Lord, in this new chapter, please order my steps and let Your will prevail in my life. Give me wisdom to make the right decisions and courage to walk away from anything that is not meant for me.

Bless the work of my hands. Let my business grow beyond my expectations. Open doors that no man can shut and connect me with the right people, opportunities and helpers.

Give me peace in my heart, strength in my body, wisdom in my mind, and joy in my home.

Let this new age bring restoration, financial stability, genuine happiness, answered prayers and testimonies.

Protect me and my children. Keep us under Your covering and guide us throughout this year.

And Lord, before this next birthday, let me look back and say:

“Only God could have done this.”
