I always urge people to read the Book of Proverbs, it will give you some sort of Perspective and if you are willing, Wisdom will not be far from you.

There are so many benefits in being Wise. Not of the world but the Wisdom that comes from God. The benefits are too numerous to even comprehend.

However like our scripture board says today, Wisdom will give you life, riches and honor.

May Jehovah’s grace continue to speak for us at all times as we work on getting wisdom daily in Jesus name. Amen

This Ukwa Recipe is what i grew up on. My Grandmother sold ukwa in one of the most Popular markets in Agbor Delta state called Baleke Market and Ukwa was the first thing i ever sold.

My Grandmother learnt it from her People and this is exactly how Ika People of both Edo and Delta state make their Ukwa (Breadfruit). Compared to other Ukwa recipes from other parts of Nigeria, This is the most beginner friendly and easiest for first time tasters.

I have never given any person this Ukwa recipe to taste and the person rejected it. They always ask for more. The Palm oil Sauce and Prawns are Optional and mostly used when we want to eat it with Yam or Plantains.

All you need are:
1. Cleaned Ukwa seeds
2. Water for Boiling
3. Maggi and salt for seasoning to your taste

Then cook the Ukwa till done, Mash till almost smooth and you can add heated oil with pepper, onions and prawns if pairing with Yam
