On Wednesday 21st January, the Agribusiness Evening organized in collaboration with LSE Firoz Lalji Institute for Africa held at the London School of Economics, London.

Celebrating the book of Professor David Luke, beginning with an opening remark from our CEO Olawale Rotimi Opeyemi , the evening featured keynotes from former Vice President of African Development Bank, Ms Cecilia Akintomide and the Liberian Ambassador to the United Kingdom. In addition, an energetic and resourceful panel chaired by Dr. Carolin Hulke.

The panelists David Luke , Charlotte Brown, Dr Mohammed Ibraheem (Founder of Africorp) and Jonathan Said shared rare insights about repositioning Africa’s agricultural value chain.

Private sector and Academia collaboration brings practical results that improve lives of farmers, develop rural communities in Africa and advance the continent economically through agribusiness.

Tomorrow (21st January, 2026) evening at the London School of Economics, LSE Firoz Lalji Institute for Africa and JR Farms Group will host an agribusiness evening discussing the role of agribusiness in repositioning Africa’s agricultural value chain.

With current global shifts, wars and political tensions, protectionism policies, climate change, and fast growing population on the African continent, there’s no better time to discuss this subject than NOW!
