But what if you don’t finish what you prepped?” “What if you aren’t in the mood?”

✌🏼Those are 2 common fears around meal prep and cooking in general and here’s my take: every week of meal prep, every time you cook for yourself, it’s a learning experience. Not everything will be perfect and some days it will be too much or too little. Some days you won’t be in the mood.
🙅🏻‍♀️But your body is NOT a trash can and you do not have to be a “member of the clean plate club.”
👉🏼Is tossing food out a good thing? No, it’s definitely something we want to avoid. There are a few things to try before tossing uneaten food that’s safe to eat.
-try to save it for later
-repurpose it into a new meal
-freeze it
-share it with someone if you can
-compost it if possible
-toss it if needed. It happens.
