Simple homemade cinnamon rolls recipe 🥰

Ingredients

For the dough
3 cups all-purpose flour
2 tsp yeast (1 sachet)
1/4 cup sugar
1/2 tsp salt
1/3 cup warm milk
21/2 tbsp butter (melted)
1 egg
For the filling
2 tbsp soft butter
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 tbsp cinnamon powder

Instructions

1. Activate the yeast
In a bowl, mix warm milk, yeast, and 1 tbsp sugar. Leave it for 5–10 minutes until it becomes foamy.
2. Make the dough
Add the remaining sugar, egg, melted butter, salt, and flour.
Mix until a soft dough forms.
3. Knead the dough for about 8–10 minutes until smooth and elastic.
4. Let it rise
Cover the dough and allow it to rise for 1 hour or until it doubles in size.
5. Roll the dough into a large rectangle on a floured surface.
6. Add the filling
Spread soft butter on the dough, then sprinkle brown sugar and cinnamon evenly.
7. Roll the dough tightly like a log and cut into 8–12 rolls
Place the rolls in a greased baking pan and let them rise again for 20–30 minutes.

Here is a simple recipe for scotch eggs

Ingredients
5 eggs (4 for boiling, 1 for coating)
300 g minced meat (beef or sausage meat)
1 teaspoon garlic powder
1 teaspoon onion powder
½ teaspoon black pepper
½ teaspoon salt
½ teaspoon paprika (optional)
1 cup breadcrumbs
½ cup flour
Oil for deep frying

Instructions
1. Boil the Eggs
Place 4 eggs in a pot of water and boil for about 7–8 minutes. Remove the shells and set the eggs aside.
2. Season the Meat
In a bowl, mix the minced meat with garlic powder, onion powder, pepper, salt, and paprika. Mix well until combined.
3. Wrap the Eggs
Divide the seasoned meat into 4 equal portions. Flatten each portion in your hand and wrap it around each boiled egg until the egg is fully covered.
4. Coat the Eggs
Roll each meat-covered egg in flour, dip it into a beaten egg, then coat it with breadcrumbs.
5. Fry the Scotch Eggs
Heat oil in a pan and deep fry the eggs on medium heat for about 5–7 minutes until golden brown.
6. Serve
Remove and place on paper towels to drain excess oil.
