DAILY DEVOTIONAL
THEME FOR THE MONTH: "THE LORD IS MY LIGHT AND MY SALVATION" - _Psalm 27:1_
WEDNESDAY, 29TH OCTOBER, 2026
TOPIC: WHEN GRACE SPEAKS, MOUNTAINS MOVE
*SCRIPTURE: Zechariah 4:7 - "Who art thou, O great mountain? before Zerubbabel thou shalt become a plain: and he shall bring forth the headstone thereof with shoutings, crying, Grace, grace unto it."
WORD OF GRACE:
Beloved, welcome to the Word of Grace.
Today, heaven is speaking to every mountain standing before you.
In Zechariah 4:7, Zerubbabel was given a task that looked bigger than him — to rebuild the temple. Before him stood a great mountain of opposition, delay, lack of resources, and discouragement. Men looked at him and said it would never be finished. But God gave him a revelation that mountains don't move by shouting at them, mountains move when Grace speaks.
Child of God, what is that mountain in your life? Is it that health report that has refused to change? Is it that financial door that has remained closed? Is it that marital delay, that academic struggle, that business that is not growing?
The Lord says to you this 29th day of October: *You will not end this month on that mountain. That mountain will end for your sake.
Listen, David said in our theme scripture Psalm 27:1, "The Lord is my light and my salvation, whom shall I fear?" When the Lord is your light, darkness cannot hide your blessing. When the Lord is your salvation, no enemy can conclude your matter.
Three things Grace will do for you today:
1. Grace will turn your mountain to a plain: That thing that has been difficult will become easy. What men struggled to achieve, Grace will make you achieve with ease.
*2. Grace will bring forth your headstone: You started this year with a vision, a project, a prayer. Grace will not allow you to be an abandoned project. You will finish with celebration.
3. Grace will provoke shoutings:* The same people who saw you struggling will gather to shout Grace, Grace over your life. Your testimony will be so visible that even your enemies will confess that God did it.
Beloved, October is not over. We have 2 days to go. The God who heard you when you called on the 23rd is the same God who will move mountains for you today. Don't give up now. Don't complain now. Just keep declaring Grace, Grace!
Today, go out with this consciousness: The Lord is my light — so I will not walk in confusion. The Lord is my salvation — so I will not end in shame.
Your mountain is moving, and your headstone of testimony is coming forth!
PRAYER:
Father, thank You for being my Light and my Salvation. Today, by Your Grace, let every mountain before me become a plain. Let my headstone of testimony appear with shoutings of Grace, Grace, in Jesus' mighty name. Amen.
DECLARATION:
I decree, I am carried by Grace. Every mountain before me becomes a plain. I will finish this month with shoutings and testimonies. The Lord is my Light, I will not walk in darkness. The Lord is my Salvation
