We were present at the FirstBank Agric & Export Expo 2026, held on 16โ17 September at the Eko Convention Centre, Lagos, where we exhibited and engaged with stakeholders across Nigeriaโs agricultural and export ecosystem.
Themed โFrom Farm to Global Markets: Building Nigeriaโs Export Value Chain,โ the Expo brought together policymakers, financial institutions, agribusinesses, investors and other key stakeholders.
A key highlight was the participation of Dr. Agboola Belgore, Managing Director, Amo Byng, as a panellist during the session, โBuilding Competitive Export Value Chains: Policies, Investments and Partnerships for Nigeriaโs Agricultural Transformation.โ
Dr. Belgore highlighted the importance of private-sector-led investment, supported by policies and incentives that enable businesses to create jobs, build sustainable enterprises and strengthen the agricultural value chain. He also encouraged businesses to look beyond primary production and explore value addition, using the journey from cocoa to chocolate as an example.
At our booth, we showcased our businesses and engaged with visitors and industry stakeholders, including H.E. Mohammed Umaru Bago, Governor of Niger State, and H.E. Lucky Aiyedatiwa, Governor of Ondo State.
It was an opportunity to build connections and contribute to conversations shaping the future of Nigerian agriculture and exports.
