No matter how good your honey is, poor storage practice will result in spoilt honey.

Today, I'm excited to share GREAT TIPS TO PRESERVING YOUR HONEY - as promised in my previous post.✌️

Let's get started!

🍯Honey should be stored in an airtight container to prevent moisture and contaminants.

🍯Honey should be kept away from direct sunlight and heat to avoid color change and lose of flavor.

🍯 Honey does not need to be refrigerated. In fact, refrigerating honey can cause it to solidify.
When this happens, gently warm the container in a bowl of warm water.

🍯Use Glass or Plastic Containers to store honey not metallic containers

Well,

Yessssss, it's safe to take honey during pregnancy. 🤰🏼

It's not safe to give honey to babies under a year old but eating honey when you're pregnant won't harm you or your unborn child.

That's because your grown-up stomach can handle the bacteria in honey that sometimes make babies sick with a rare illness called botulism.
