😂 Facebook just reminded me of the cake I decorated 3 years ago!
Picture A was the cake I made 3 years ago, shortly after I graduated from baking school, while Picture B is a cake I decorated recently.
Looking at these two pictures side by side makes me smile and also reminds me of how far I’ve come.
This is proof that consistency truly pays. The more you practice, the better you become. Growth may be slow at first, but if you keep learning, keep showing up, and keep improving, your work will eventually speak for itself.
To every beginner out there, don’t be discouraged by where you are starting from. We all start somewhere.
It only gets better with practice, patience, and persistence.

😭😂The Day I Regretted Buying Meat Pie by the road side

So, one day I traveled to Aba to buy cake tools. After shopping, I headed straight to the park to return to Port Harcourt.
I bought my ticket and entered the bus.

Guess where I sat?
Window seat.
That was my first mistake 😭😂

Not even up to 5 minutes, one woman appeared by my window, preaching and persuading me to buy her meat pie.

I told her politely, “No ma, I’m not buying.”but she refused, she kept pressurizing me to buy that a trial will convince me😂

The way she pressured me, I finally asked for the price. She said is 400 each, like 400 for this big size of meat pie she said yes is 400 naira.

Big meat pie for ₦400 in this economy? 😳
As a baker, I know how much I sell that size of meat pie, so I was already suspicious.
But curiosity held my hand. 😂
I brought out ₦800 and collected two.
See me see big eye.
I didn’t even buy one to test.
I bought two confidently😭😂
When the vehicle started moving, I brought out my chilled drink, opened the first meat pie.
Omo…
It was not meat pie.
It was YAM PIE! 😭😭😂😂
Yam full everywhere!
At that moment, I looked through the window and said:
“I for no sit near window oo!” 😭😂
Honestly, I wasn’t expecting premium quality, but I also wasn’t expecting to be deceived.
Why not just tell me you’re selling yam pie?
Let me buy it with full understanding. 😂😭
Since that day till now I made a promise that I wasn’t going to try such mistake ever again.
