I Am a Teacher!
I am a teacher. I do not merely stand before a class; I stand before possibilities. I see a child who is still discovering what the world can be, and sometimes, what they can be.
I teach lessons from books, but I also teach courage, patience, curiosity, discipline and hope.
I explain the difficult, encourage the discouraged, celebrate the little victories, and sometimes repeat the same thing for the hundredth time, with a smile. 😊
I may never know how far a lesson will travel. A word I spoke today may become someone's confidence tomorrow. A question I encouraged may become someone's discovery. A child I believed in may one day change the world.
Teaching is not always easy. It demands patience when I am tired, strength when I feel empty, and compassion even on difficult days.
But I return.
Because somewhere in that classroom is a future scientist, a doctor, an engineer, a teacher, a leader, an entrepreneur, a parent, a nation-builder.
And I have the privilege of being part of the journey.
So today, I celebrate the profession I chose. I celebrate every teacher who keeps showing up, keeps learning, keeps giving, and keeps believing.
I am proudly a teacher. And I know that every child taught, every mind awakened, and every life positively touched is a seed planted for the future.
Happy Teachers’ Day to every teacher who teaches with knowledge, leads with compassion, and serves with purpose. ❤️👩🏽🏫
