GAS MAINTAINANCE...
*gas cylinders are required to be tested or replaced every ten (10-15year). You can find the expiry date and other information stamped on the neck of the cylinder
*if the cylinder is more than 15years passed its stamped date, the cylinder cannot be refilled
*do not attempt to refill dented, damage or corroded cylinders. They must be return to a test station for re-certification.

*Check the rubber bull nosing or O-ring is not damaged and is present on the hose that connects the appliances to the LPG Cylinder valve.
*leaks are cause by damaged or missing O-ring or rubber bull nosing or where connection are not tight.
*check for cracks or damaged gas regulator, which may need replacing. Always take care when reconnecting it.
*turn the gas back ON and test everything again with soapy water.
*if bubble are still forming, turn OFF the gass supply and do not use the gas appliance. Contact a licensed gasfitter to replace the gas hose and regulator assembly.
*after you have finished using your LPG appliance you should always close the cylinder valve first before turning OFF the LPG gas appliance.
*keep your LPG appliance CLEAN and in good condition.

*do not connet or disconnect cylinders near a naked flame.
*do not use L.P.G in windly conditions.
*always keep L.P.G cylinder cool and away from flames,spark and heat.
*keep fire estinguesher closer to where you are using gas.
*use only approved or certified hoses and connection desingned for gas
*never use home-made one
*make sure your gas connection are tight.
*turn on the cylinder valve and test for leaks, you can do this by using a sq**rt bottle or brush and coating the gas connection and hose with soapy water
*get into the habit of regularly checking for leaks every time you use gas appliance.
*if bubbles start forming there is a leakage.
*turn off the gas cylinder valve, disconnect the left hand thread connections and check that the face are clear.....,.
