Why Some Friendships Destroy Destiny...

Friendship is powerful. The people around us influence our thinking, behaviour, and even the direction of our lives. Many young people do not suddenly become irresponsible overnight. Most times, it starts little by little through wrong company.

A person who was once focused may begin to lose seriousness because of careless friends. Someone who once respected values may slowly change just to fit into a group. That is the danger of bad friendship, it changes people quietly.

Note, not every friendship is healthy. Any friendship that constantly pulls you away from your goals, peace, values, or relationship with God is not helping your future.

Good friends do more than make us laugh. They encourage growth, correct us with love, support our dreams, and inspire us to become better people.

As youths, we must learn to choose friends wisely. Not everyone should have close access to our lives.

One simple question to ask is this:
“After spending time with these people, am I becoming better or worse?”

Because whether we realize it or not, friendships shape direction, and direction shapes destiny.
