When you dine at different restaurants or hire different chefs and wonder why one may charge more than the other, this may be a reason.

Quality.

Yes, you could have gotten that dish for cheaper at another establishment. Is it really the same though, did it taste the same?

I first learned of the quality of butter as a child. My Granny used to serve me buttered toast and till this very day it’s one of my fave things to eat because of her. A nice crusty piece of bread with really good softened butter. I’ve been thinking about her butter ever since & couldn’t figure out why it was so good. It was quality. Nothing ever compared !
