In this one-time beginner workshop, ceramicist Bianca Cioca will take you through the basics of learning to work on the wheel in a novice-friendly, casual environment, accompanied by wines from Rebel Wines! Along with making a beautiful pot you will also sample 3 wines — engaging your hands and tastebuds!
After a glass of wine and a friendly introduction, students will spend two hours learning the basics of working on the wheel, accompanied by a tasting lead by the team from Rebel Wines. Together you will prep your clay, learn about tools and techniques, throw your first pots, and sample some lovely bottles! Students will then select a glaze and leave their pot at the studio to be fired and glazed, which will take 3-4 weeks. At the end we will convene to pat ourselves on the back for an evening well spent!
