Wijn Wij zijn importeur van wijnen uit Frankrijk, Italië, Duitsland, Oostenrijk, Spanje en Portugal.

In onze winkel vind je vooral wijnen van autochtone druivenrassen. We zijn altijd op zoek naar wijnen die karakteristiek zijn voor de regio waar ze gemaakt worden. Denk aan elegante Nebbiolo uit Piemonte, zwoele Nero d'Avola uit Sicilië en verfijnde Pinot Noir uit de Bourgogne of de Ahr.

*RESTOBAR ROSIE X WIJNWINKEL*

On Sunday 20th September, Restobar Rosie and De Wijnwinkel are invited by Petit Péché for their second-to-last Sunday Summer Series.

Since the start of Restobar Rosie in October 2022, De Wijnwinkel has been part of its journey and it’s w**elist.

On the 20th, we’ll celebrate this collaboration with a spectacular lunch and dinner. De Wijnwinkel will serve flavourful avant-lunch and dinner bites, with a line-up of killer w**es by the glass, while Restobar Rosie serves an amazing 5-course menu for €62 per person. You don’t want to miss this one!

So that’s a wrap!

The store is empty, the last bottles have left the building. The desks have found a place in our new office.
Thank you Runstraat nr. 23 for all the good memories, we will keep them and transcend them to our new home.

From this Tuesday, you can find us at our new address: Eerste Looiersdwarsstraat 8.

For now same opening hours, Tuesday- Saturday

All good things come to an end….

After a few moves around Amsterdam’s city centre, De Wijnwinkel settled at 23 Runstraat in 1986.

From here, we have spent the past 40 years supplying the residents of the Jordaan and surrounding neighbourhoods with w**e. The first restaurants we supplied were Caffè Toscanini and Balthazars Keuken. Since then, many more well-known and lesser-known restaurants, cafés and w**e bars have joined our list of customers, both in Amsterdam and beyond.

Our starting point has always remained the same: working with talented European w**emakers who make w**es that make you thirsty for another glass.

In the 1980s and ’90s, the 9 Streets were a lively mix of shops serving everyday needs — bakeries, grocers, butchers and small specialty shops. Over time, that function has slowly disappeared. The change is perhaps most visible in what now attracts the most attention: queues of tourists waiting for fries or cookies, rather than shops where local residents can do their daily shopping.

The city is always changing, and we have never had the illusion that we could stop the changes taking place in our neighbourhood. What we can do, however, is make sure that you, our customers, continue to feel at home in our shop and on our street. That you can simply park your bike on the pavement in front of the shop and stop for a chat in the street. Because how lovely is it to stroll or cycle, shopping bag in hand, from the supermarket via the butcher and the baker to your friends at De Wijnwinkel, and choose a nice bottle on a quiet street without TikTok queues?

After 40 years, we’re ready for a new home — one that reflects who we are and what we do.

Our new corner shop at 8 Eerste Looiersdwarsstraat ticks all the important boxes: a charming shop just a stone’s throw from our current location, on a quiet and peaceful street, and around the corner from the Elandsgracht, where you can do the rest of your shopping.

From Saturday, August 29, you’re very welcome to visit us at Eerste Looiersdwarsstraat. Until then, we’ll be open as usual, while quietly moving things over to our new home in the meantime.

The final month of Sunday Summer Series is here.

Over the past months we’ve welcomed so many restaurants, chefs and guests to Outpost. Every Sunday brought its own team, its own menu and its own atmosphere. Seeing everyone make this place their own has been exactly what we hoped for.

For our last month, we’ve invited:

Since café beurre opened up in 2022, Wijnwinkel has been a big part of its yourney and ofcourse it’s w**elist.

Now 4 years later we celebrate again by hosting a full day together at , invited by for their Sunday Summer Series.

De Wijnwinkel will do some flavourful avant-lunch and dinner bites and is at your disposal with a line-up of killer w**es by the glass while will serve its special full course menu for €58 euros per person, you know what to expect.
