If you’ve already watched the first episode of our YouTube series with Jamie Oliver, you’ve seen this beauty come together: a fresh Italian-style tuna salad served on crisp tomato bruschetta with anchovies.

It’s exactly the kind of recipe Jamie and Bart love: simple ingredients, big flavours, and ready in no time. Rich tuna, sweet tomatoes and punchy anchovies are a match made in seafood heaven, while the crunchy bruschetta ties it all together.

Give it a try, or save it for later. Recipe via the link in bio. 🐟🇮🇹✨

Wild salmon season is officially here! 🐟 Salmon are returning from the ocean and every spring, Alaska’s Copper River is traditionally one of the first fisheries to open for the season. A special moment!

But what makes Alaska truly unique isn’t just the salmon, it’s the rules behind them. The season only opens when enough salmon have returned to keep the population strong for generations to come. Nature decides the timing, not the market. That’s exactly why we choose wild sockeye salmon from Alaska.

Meanwhile, our fisherman Tony is preparing for his 40th summer in Alaska. He still has to wait until mid-June before heading out with his crew in Egegik Bay, but the excitement is already building:

“The pre-season is looking promising. We’ve got a strong crew, the forecasts are good… now we’re just hoping for favourable winds and the right tides.”

Let the wild salmon season begin!

Big plans call for bold company.
We’re kicking off a Seafood Revolution… with a very good friend of mine.
Who that is? One week to go.
Start guessing in the comments 😉

Meet the Mama Mama Group 💥

In Bitung, Indonesia, Reni, Laura, Novi & Seli are running their own food stall. What started with a Fair Trade premium from our skipjack tuna has grown into something much bigger, a business they built themselves.

For months, they were in the kitchen. Testing, tasting, starting over. Sometimes it went completely wrong (so wrong it could’ve sent you straight to the dentist 😅), but giving up? Not an option.

Now they serve their pride and joy: Katsuo Marendeng. Spicy, crispy, and packed with flavour. Made with the tuna their husbands catch.

How cool is that?

Today is World Tuna Day 🐟 And yes - we’re celebrating, because we love tuna!

But let’s be real: the tuna industry isn’t future-proof.
Overfishing and bycatch are still part of the system. And that’s exactly why today matters.

Because it can be done differently. And our tuna fishers show that every single day. Hardworking fisherman like Glein (photo 2) or Karim (photo 4).

All our tuna is caught one by one, using pole & line. Small boats, fishers sitting side by side, waiting for the bite. Not the fastest way, but the right one: traditional, selective, with hardly any bycatch.

Your choice matters. What you buy supports the kind of fishing behind it.
Choose better, and you support fishers using methods that protect the ocean - so tuna stays something we can enjoy, for us and for the future generations.

Tuna masala – my way 🔥 This is my take on an Indian tuna masala!

A rich, spiced tomato curry with warming flavours, soft chunks of tuna in olive oil and fresh herbs on top. Comfort food with a kick, ready in just 15 minutes.

This dish shows exactly why tinned fish is always a good idea. It’s quick, versatile and full of flavour, perfect for any day of the week.

And the tuna really makes the difference. Not all tuna is the same, so make sure you choose one that’s responsibly caught with pole-and-line. That way you know you’re getting great quality and supporting fisheries that respect the ocean. Enjoy!
