WALNUT CRESCENT COOKIES 🍪✨
about 70 cookies (depending on size) | ~65 kcal each

Ingredients
• 350g all-purpose flour
• 200g walnuts, coarsely chopped but not too chunky
• 1 tsp baking powder
• ½ tsp salt
• 75g powdered sugar + 75g for dusting
• 200g butter, room temp
• 1 egg, room temp
• 1 tsp vanilla extract
• zest of 1 lemon
• juice of 1 lemon

Instructions
1. In a bowl, mix flour, walnuts, baking powder, and salt.
2. In another bowl, cream butter and powdered sugar until smooth.
3. Add egg and mix well, then stir in vanilla, lemon zest, and lemon juice.
4. Gradually add the dry ingredients and mix until a soft dough forms.
5. Shape into a ball, wrap, and chill for 1–2 hours.
6. Preheat oven to 190°C / 375°F.
7. Roll out the dough and cut into 3–4 cm squares. Cut each square in half and gently shape into crescent moons.
8. Place on a lined baking tray and bake for 10–13 minutes, until lightly golden on the edges.
9. Let cool completely, then place all cookies in a bowl, add 75g powdered sugar and mix well until each cookie is well coated.
