The next generation of dairy customers is young, diverse, and has enormous purchasing power and influence. They are truly passionate about their causes, be it environment or animal care. They expect businesses to be transparent and demonstrate high degrees of sensitivity to the causes that they espouse.
The standard communications put up by the Dairy industry may not resonate adequately with Gen Z. Serena Schaffner, Senior Vice President of Communications Dairy Management Inc suggests that the Dairy Industry needs to walk the "sustainability" path and rewrite its narrative to appeal to this audience.
