Same agave. Four very different expressions.

San Cosme, Bruxo 1, The Lost Explorer Espadín and Los Danzantes Reposado all start with agave Espadín, and that is where the similarities end.

The celebration of the year has come and gone, but the memories are here to stay. 🎉

Here are the first photos from our 12.5Y celebration last week. And this is just the beginning. Keep an eye on our feed as we take you back through an amazing day filled with great people, brands, conversations, activities and plenty of reasons to celebrate.

Espadín is one of the most widely used agaves in mezcal. And because it is so common, it can sometimes be overlooked in favour of more unusual agave varieties.

But a familiar agave does not mean a familiar mezcal.

Just like with wh***ey, the raw material is only part of the story. Terroir, fermentation, production methods and the people behind the spirit all have an influence on what ends up in the bottle.

Some expressions may share certain flavour characteristics, but no two mezcals are exactly alike.
