This week marked the start of a new chapter for Konijnenvoer.

After saying goodbye to our restaurant, our guests, we packed up the final boxes and closed this unforgettable chapter.

But the space gave us one final gift.

With immense pride, we’re beyond excited to announce that we’ve signed with Nijgh Cuisine for our new cookbook.

A new chapter calls for new furniture.

On Thursday, May 14, we’re opening up the doors one last time for a yard sale + farewell party at Weverstraat 40.

We’ll be selling a big part of our interior, furniture, tableware and random treasures from the past 4 years.
Every euro goes to the Arnhemse voedselbank.

And most importantly: one last chance to raise a glass together.

Open bar. Snacks.

De ochtend van onze allerlaatste shift is aangebroken.

Sinds de aankondiging in januari hebben we stap voor stap afscheid genomen van een plek die ons zo ongelooflijk veel heeft gegeven. Vier jaar lang hebben we alles gegeven, aan elkaar, aan het restaurant, aan iedereen die hier binnenstapte.

Deze laatste shift voelt niet bitter, en ook niet verdrietig. We omarmen haar, precies zoals we elke shift hebben omarmd. De afgelopen maanden hebben we afgeteld, soms alleen, vaak samen met jullie, maar bovenal als één team.

Met 25 sterke mensen stonden we hier. Als pilaren onder dit restaurant, onder elkaar. Wat we samen hebben opgebouwd, draag ik voor altijd met me mee. Mijn dank is groot. Mijn liefde voor jullie is niet in woorden te vangen.

Vandaag nemen we afscheid van de Weverstraat.
Vandaag proosten we op alles wat we hebben bereikt, op mijlpalen, op dromen die werkelijkheid werden, op het succes van ons werk.

En morgen… begint er een nieuw hoofdstuk
