Een zeer goede maar helaas ietwat druilerige woensdagmorgen. (Wel goed voor de natuur😉)

Het is vandaag International Pinot Noir Day.
Één van mijn favoriete Pinot Noir rosé is;
The Daily August
van August Kesseler. Idyllisch gelegen aan de Rheingau maken ze daar deze rosé volgens de saignée methode, waarbij het sap kort in contact is gekomen met de schilletjes. Dat geeft een frisse, fruitige rosé. Levendig met veel rood fruit en een lichtroze kleur. Proost op een mooie nazomer😎

by August Kesseler. Idyllically situated in the Rheingau, they produce this rosé using the *saignée* method, where the juice has brief contact with the skins. This results in a fresh, fruity rosé—lively, with plenty of red fruit notes and a pale pink color.

Een zeer goede en warme donderdagmorgen, wil je iets verfrissend's drinken met deze Spaanse temperaturen dan zijn de wijnen uit de Spaanse regio Rías Baixas een aanrader.

Bijvoorbeeldde Albariño Cinco Islas 2025 van de familie Chaves. Zij zijn het oudste wijnhuis van de appellatie Rías Baixas en maken sinds 1955 zeer aantrekkelijke wijnen.

In de geur komen de zeer aromatische tonen van citrus, mango, ananas en abrikoos je neus bedwelmen.
In de mond komen de betoverende smaken van tropisch fruit en bloemen naar voren.
Dit aangevuld met een opvallende ziltigheid & mineraliteit.

Muy buenos días. Si busca algo refrescante para beber con estas temperaturas tan propias de España, los vinos de la región de Rías Baixas son una excelente elección.

Un buen ejemplo es el Albariño Cinco Islas 2025 de la familia Chaves. Se trata de la bodega más antigua de la denominación de origen Rías Baixas, que elabora vinos sumamente atractivos desde 1955.

En nariz, le reciben notas cautivadoras y muy aromáticas de cítricos, mango, piña y albaricoque.
En boca, destacan unos sabores encantadores a frutas tropicales y notas florales.
Todo ello se complementa con un carácter salino y mineral distintivo.

A very good and warm Thursday morning to you. If you’re looking for something refreshing to drink in these Spanish-style temperatures, wines from the Spanish region of Rías Baixas come highly recommended.

Take, for instance, the Albariño Cinco Islas 2025 from the Chaves family. They are the oldest winery in the Rías Baixas appellation and have been producing highly appealing wines since 1955.

On the nose, you are greeted by intoxicating, highly aromatic notes of citrus, mango, pineapple, and apricot.
On the palate, enchanting flavors of tropical fruit and florals come to the fore.
All of this is complemented by a distinctive salinity and minerality.

Een zeer goede en belachelijk warme donderdagmorgen. Met de tropische temperaturen is het verstandig om de vochthuishouding op peil te houden. Wat ik zelf erg lekker vind is een Negroni light, een aperitiefcocktail die bekendstaat om zijn perfecte balans tussen bitter, zoet en kruidig. De iconische drank bestaat uit gelijke delen rode vermout (Benito Escudero) Bitter Kas, blok ijs en eventueel garneren met sinaasappel en takje rozemarijn🍷
Ben je nieuwsgierig geworden naar deze cocktail, Suresh helpt je er graag bij. De winkel is dankzij gewoon open🕺

A wonderful—and ridiculously hot—Thursday morning. With these tropical temperatures, it’s wise to stay hydrated.
