But here’s the thing…
Fruit sugar comes wrapped in fiber. Water. Vitamins. Minerals. Antioxidants. Amino acids. Prebiotics.

It literally feeds your gut bacteria, helps flush your digestive tract clean..
(I’ve been cleansing with a lot of fruit lately, you cannot even believe how you clean up.)

The sugar in fruit behaves completely differently than the sugar in processed food. Because it’s not traveling alone. It brings the whole team.

The only time fruit becomes an issue? When you juice it and remove the fibers… Or when blood sugar is already unstable off course of the processed foods.

Otherwise? Eat the fruit. 🍓🍇🍊

Dit jaar starten wij, Eva & Evara, met een reeks van vier seizoensceremonies.
Vier dagen, elk geworteld in een element, een archetype, een laag van je vrouwelijkheid die misschien al een tijdje wacht om te ontdekken.

Een jaarcyclus van vier seizoenen, vier elementen, vier archetypes…

Wat gaan we doen? ✨
Feminine Embodiment • Shadow Work • Elemental, Archetypal & Womb Work • Kruidenceremonies • Cacao & Rapé.

Er is iets in jou dat de seizoenen kent. Dat weet wanneer het tijd is om te groeien, wanneer het tijd is om los te laten, wanneer het tijd is om stil te worden.
It is time to remember this deep knowing as a woman.. Het leven volgens cycli, met de elementen, één met de natuur.

Elke ceremonie is een dag op zichzelf. Samen vormen ze een volledig jaar van innerlijke cyclus.

De eerste ceremonie nadert:

Na een zomer van geven, bewegen en doen is het tijd om terug te zakken.

In deze eerste ceremonie duiken we in het element aarde en het archetype van The Mother.
Niet de moeder als rol, maar de moeder als bewustzijnslaag: de vrouw die voedt vanuit worteling, die draagt zonder zichzelf te verliezen, die groeit in stilte.

Een dag van gronding. Met een kruidenritueel, schaduwwerk, wombwork, een lunch made by the elements en een cacao ceremonie die je hart opent.

I’m leaving RetreatHouse ✨
Not in my heart but in visibility.

It’s been transformation season…again 🤪
It’s always interesting to see the conversations you have and the things happening around you being these mirrors.
And this coming-back theme is attachment and letting go.

How I don’t want to be attached to anything or anyone like I used to. Because it’s such a heavy process of letting go when you get attached.

We build something, pour so much of ourselves into it, and somewhere along the way it becomes part of who we think we are. The relationship, the house, the business, the creation.
Then having to let go feels like an identity death.

Without fully realising it, I started hiding behind an identity too.

The identity of a woman who broke everything down to create this new life, this community, this business.

So I’m not leaving my business but I don’t want to express myself anymore as RetreatHouse or RetreatFood, these names attaching me to businesses I’ve created during my deepest transformation…

I’m not the ceremonies, the spaces or the food. I’m me.
Not separating one identity from the other anymore, but fully embracing everything that comes through me in the form of creation, of life force.

So for those who are following me on RetreatHouse and not on RetreatFood, but want to keep following me… I’ll be continuing only on the retreatfood account, which I already changed to RetreatFood & RetreatHouse
With almost 5000 followers and all these years of building and sharing I’m cleaning up, letting go and leaving this account.

Total ego death, yes!
And again, it feels totally aligned and liberating! ♡

Thank you for following me here, encouraging me, attending the ceremonies and staying at the Airbnbs.
