HOLY S**T. WHAT A YEAR. 🍻

One year of ATONE.

And somehow, looking back at all this, it feels like we’ve crammed about five years into twelve months.

We started a brewery.
Brewed a sh*tload of b**r.
Released our first cans into the wild.
Hit festivals, bars and taprooms.
Made new friends.
Worked with some amazing people.
Took over a brewpub.
Built, painted, fixed, broke and rebuilt things.
And found ourselves a home at CDE in Enschede.

A place where we can brew, experiment, pour b**rs, make questionable decisions and, most importantly, have a ridiculous amount of fun doing it.

None of this happened on our own.

So a massive THANK YOU to everyone who brewed with us, poured our b**rs, stocked our cans, invited us, collaborated with us, helped build things, showed up at festivals, drank our b**r, shared a table, gave advice, lent a hand or simply believed in what we’re trying to build.

You know who you are.❤️

And the slightly terrifying thing is…

WE’RE ONLY GETTING STARTED.

There’s already a ridiculous amount happening behind the scenes. New b**rs. New experiments. New collaborations. New ideas. More CDE madness. And probably a few things we haven’t even thought of yet.

Year one was fu***ng wild.

We seriously can’t wait to show you what year two looks like.

Meet CHEST CANDY, our brand-new collaboration brew with vandeStreek-bier

This New Zealand NEDIPA is loaded with Superdelic, Riwaka and Nectaron Cryo, bursting with tropical fruit, bright citrus and an incredibly soft, juicy body. It’s dangerously drinkable and exactly the kind of b**r we love to brew.

So, why CHEST CANDY?

The name comes from the Stray From The Path track. Just like the song, this b**r has one mission: to absolutely destroy your speakers… or in this case, your taste buds.

Want to be the very first to try it?

Join us on Friday, July 3, from 4 PM at Craft District Enschede for the official release. This will be the first place anywhere to taste it, on tap at CDE, before we roll the cans and kegs out to your favourite pubs and craft b**r retailers across the nation.

Both the Atone and vandeStreek brewers will be there, so come grab a fresh pour and celebrate the release with us.

An epic beginning deserves an epic release!
So here’s EPIC!
Brewed by Wentersch & Atone for Craft District Enschede.

A bright, clear American IPA with Nelson Sauvin, Chinook & Simcoe. 5.4% with a sharp bite and a clean finish.

The label says it all.
The Greyhound of Wentersch dragged through the raw visual language of Atone. White eyes, chained neck, zero restraint.

A b**r that reflects what CDE is becoming.
Independent and unmistakably itself.

We’re open!

Last Sunday we opened the doors for the people who helped built this with us.
From tomorrow, Craft District Enschede (CDE) is open to everyone. Tuesday through Sunday.

We didn’t step into a finished place, we rebuilt it ourselves over the past months. What it is now reflects how we think a brewpub should feel. Contemporary, open, and not stuck in old habits.

To mark the opening we brewed a collab with Wentersch.
“Epic” is an American IPA at 5.4% and it’ll be pouring from tomorrow, fresh from tap. There’s a very limited run of cans coming later.

The people in the last photo are a few of the ones behind Atone and CDE. Everyone who put in the hours to get this place ready, from rebuilding to painting and cleaning, including the women behind Atone. Different roles, same effort.

Now that the pub is open, we’re pushing straight on to get the brewery fully operational. First b**rs from our own tanks are close.

Proud. That’s where this starts.

We’re proud we were able to surprise Anna-Marie with something brewed just for her. She’s the sister of Martin, our head brewer, which makes this deeply personal.

4 A.M. stands for 4 Anna-Marie. A Botanical Blond, a non pale ale brewed without hops. Some cancer patients are advised to avoid hop consumption during treatment, which can make sharing a b**r impossible.

So we brewed one.

Built on barley malt and wheat, layered with lemongrass and citrus peel for freshness and subtle botanicals. No hops. Just balance and intention.

This may not be a permanent release. It’s a statement about care, subculture and brewing with meaning.

Honored to have made this for her.
