Menu for Sat 1/4
Hello!
This week I will be making sugarcane shrimp & noodles. There are spicy and non spicy noodles and the whole menu is available with meat or pescatarian.
Chạo Tôm (sugarcane shrimp) is prawn that is wrapped on sugarcane and grilled. During cooking the sugarcane adds sweetness to the prawn patty. It is served with woven vermicelli and lettuce for wrapping the prawn in and fish sauce for dipping.
Bún Lào is spicy and sour noodles. Lao because the chilli paste used for the sauce has Laos roots. It has bean vermicelli, juicy fish cake, prawns, pork mince, carrot, onions and thai basil. The spice is well balanced with the sourness from lemons.
Miến Xào is the non spicy version, but with an oyster soy garlic sauce.
Like always, the shared set menu comes with rice paper rolls & fried spring rolls.
