Every year, a large number of heifers from the 3STAR Breeding Program move to the De Bont-Avontuur family farm before calving, where they calve and enter the milking herd. The long-standing cooperation is clearly paying off. During a recent herd classification, no fewer than ten young milkers were newly classified or re-classified, with several cows receiving outstanding scores. The results once again demonstrate how type, production and breeding potential come together within the cow families we have been working with for many years!
