Natsu Yago Pink 夏ヤゴ ピンク 純米原酒(神奈川県)
A true summer sake, Izumibashi Natsu Yago is a full-bodied style that is often enjoyed in Japan over ice during the hottest months of the year.
“Omachi is one of my favourite rice varieties. It’s spicy, full-flavoured and instantly recognisable. What makes this sake so special is that you can serve it over ice, making it incredibly refreshing on its own, while still having enough body to stand up to hearty barbecue dishes. Think spicy prawns with lime, or even a beautifully marbled steak – it works brilliantly with both.”
Kanadel Pizzicato Junmai Daigonjo かなでる純米大吟醸おりからみ(新潟県)
Pizzicato from Obata Shuzo is a beautifully fresh sake with a slightly different character. It is only lightly filtered, leaving it gently cloudy and allowing a small amount of fermentation to continue in the bottle, creating a delicate natural sparkle. The rice has been polished down to 50%, resulting in a clean, elegant style that combines wonderfully with its lightly cloudy texture.
“This is an incredibly refreshing sake with endless possibilities. It’s perfect as an aperitif alongside oysters, cured ham and a little cheese. Or pair it with the ultimate summer dessert: fresh berries topped with whipped cream.”
Izumibashi Yuzu Liqeur イカシタ★リキュール柚子(神奈川県)
Our Yuzu Liqueur is made by the same brewery that produces Natsu Yago: Izu
