After another long hiatus I spent most of yesterday cleaning my brewing equipment.
And today I decided it was time for a bath....
Of my kegs which were in need of cleaning.
A brewday may be coming up ...

Both 'Go West' and 'United States of Whatever' turned out pretty awesome 😎
Go West is quite bitter while United States of Whatever is coffeeish malty and, thanks to the special stout tap, it has a nice creamy dense head of foam.

After a double brewday almost three weeks ago today was a double kegging-day. Both the west coast IPA called "Go West" and the american stout which I named "United States of Whatever" were done fermening.

After one week of forced carbonation in the keg 'Come Alive' has done exactly that... It came to life. A nice well rounded Barleywine 😋

After bulk-conditioning for 413 days (!), today I decided that the barleywine "Come Alive" should be kegged. I carefully siphoned the liquid from the glass demijohn where it had been since 30 January 2022. .

Both beers I brewed last Monday are coming along nicely. It is time for adding dry-hops to the IPA.

After a long hiatus back in business! Today I had a day off from work, so I decided to brew (well actually I took the day off so I could brew). But I felt adventurous, and decided to do a double brew! Two beers on one day: an American Stout ànd an American IPA.
