I would like to thank Odessa once again for an opportunity to run the beloved ship kitchen again. There is something about that place (more than just a pizza oven) that makes me feel like at home. In this life where appreciation is so rare to come across you gave me plenty. At times even more than I could handle 😊 It was a pleasure cooking for the retreats. I was daydreaming of living in the Dolomites. It resulted in an Italian kitchen frenzy.
*Fresh pasta (made by me) with tomato sauce from scratch
*Fresh (made by me) ravioli filled with caramelized onion, mushroom and vegan sour cream + lemon/parsley/olive oil dressing
*Arancini with Italian tempeh sausage surprise inside :) and smoked aubergine sauce
*Grilled courgette with thyme

Suzy from Boiling point will cook a lovely vegan 3 course meal. All money will go to the project 'food not borders' where vegan chefs travel to the borders to cook for refugees. Price 15,- euro's, reservations are recommended.

How giant is a giant cupcake?
How will it look like?
How will it taste like?

Do you die if you eat one whole one by yourself?
Where do the giant cupcakes come from???

Super excited! Best birthday cake ever! And what it hides... 3 different cheese-cake layers with surprise raspberries and blueberries hidden in one of them... And passion fruit topping... And caramelized fruit on top... And I wish i could try it before sending it away :(
Also I wish I had a better camera
And I want to make another one

Summer is starting and hopefully our trucky will be active more than ever :)
But before the official start of the season we will feed the visitors of DIY FEST in Onderbroek this weekend. Amazing festival with amazing bands! And all the profit from the food will go to SOLI group from NIjmegen (check - https://soligroup.wordpress.com )
Some burgers, some snacks and some pies and cakes... Maybe something like this...
