One Bold Dream, Countless Brave Steps, Five Unforgettable Years ๐
Five years ago, we started Miss Linh with one bold dream: to build an e-commerce bridge between Vietnamese food producers and European buyers.
No, we didn't have it all figured out, but yes, we believed we could make it work.
We started with a big idea, limited resources, and probably more courage than common sense, facing sleepless nights, wrong turns, hard lessons, and constant restarts. And honestly, if we had known upfront what it really takes to build a start-up like Miss Linh, we might never have dared to begin.
But somehow, we did. And Miss Linh is still here, stronger, humbler, and more grateful than ever. That alone feels worth celebrating.
As we say in Vietnam, "Thแบฅt bแบกi lร mแบน thร nh cรดng" (failure is the mother of success). And as the Dutch say, "Wie niet waagt, die niet wint."
We've lived both. We've felt the friction of failure, and we're just beginning to see the shine that persistence can create.
From early setbacks to real breakthroughs, we brought Vietnamese noodle soups into Sligro, built a strong partnership with Asian Food Group and worked with Eazie โ The Asian Good Food Bar to bring Vietnamese food more firmly onto the Dutch foodservice map. But if we're honest, the biggest achievement is not a listing or a deal, it's the people and community behind it all.
To our team, suppliers, customers, partners, advisers, friends and supporters: thank you for opening doors, challenging us, believing in us, and catching us when we stumbled. We truly would not be here without you. ๐
And to those who may join us next, suppliers, buyers, investors and partners: welcome. We're still building bridges, still introducing Vietnamese flavours to Europe, and yes, still learning along the way (sometimes the hard way, but always together).
The first five years taught us to stumble, fall, laugh at ourselves, and rise again, each scar a quiet reminder of how far we've come. The next five are about turning those lessons into momentum, and that momentum into something much bigger than we ever dared to imagine.
If you believe in building bridges between Vietnam and Europe, in food that connects cultures, or in a journey that is still very much in motion, we'd love to build with you.
We made it to five. Now, onwards to ten! ๐
