Step into the world of PAX the Humanoid 🫨

As part of North Sea Round Town Festival , PAX the Humanoid returns with a live show where rap, poetry, soul and improvisation meet in real time.
Rooted in Utrecht’s long history of experimental music, Pax has spent decades shaping a sound that moves effortlessly between intimacy and chaos. From early trip hop collectives to co-founding Kyteman’s Hiphop Orchestra, the search has always been the same: what happens when musicians truly let go.
Together with two of the most visionary instrumentalists in Dutch music, Niels Broos on keys and Yori Olijslagers on drums, every performance transforms into something entirely new. No rehearsed copy of the record, but music created live in the moment.
Expect songs from the upcoming PAX the Humanoid album, performed live for the very first time ahead of its release this autumn.

Featuring an exhibition of artworks by Job Kind created for the upcoming album.

We’re beyond excited to welcome JELISA to our living room for the very first concert of the year, featuring a very special line-up. 🧡

For JELISA, every note carries meaning and every song is a search for depth. The Amsterdam-based artist brings a unique take on indie soul, creating a fusion with jazz, funk,
soul pop, indie and alternative R&B. Her warm, authentic voice and bold, imaginative production draw listeners into a world where vulnerability and strength coexist. Echoes of
Hiatus Kaiyote, Cleo Sol, Clairo, Jordan Rakei, D’Angelo, Sade and Stevie Wonder resonate in her music, yet her artistry is unmistakably her own.

After introducing herself with Season of Vulnerability (2022), JELISA released her new EP Melancholia in 2025, a project largely created in Japan at Freedom Studio Tokyo and featuring collaborations with Japanese artists. Conceived during her time in Tokyo, where
she also performed at the renowned Baroom and filmed a documentary about her journey. The record reflects her widening international perspective and marks a new chapter in her artistic development.

Her music has received international recognition, including airplay on BBC Radio, alongside strong support from NPO Soul & Jazz and Sublime, as well as an in-depth interview with Paradiso.

On stage, JELISA has headlined her own show at Paradiso and performed as a support act at Melkweg, TivoliVredenburg and Le Maroquinerie (Paris). She has also appeared at ESNS, Supersonic Jazz Festival and other notable events, steadily building her reputation as one of
the most exciting new voices in modern soul.

Known for her authenticity, relentless and boundary-pushing creativity, JELISA continues to evolve while laying the foundations for her highly anticipated debut album. Above all, she remains pure and honest in her songwriting, telling personal stories that move and connect with people.

JELISA is joined by Yasper Molle (._ ) on guitar and Lito Mabjaja ( ) on bass and guitar.
