We often think of stress as something bad, something to avoid.
But not all stress is harmful, some stress is exactly what helps you grow.

Science calls it ๐ก๐จ๐ซ๐ฆ๐ž๐ฌ๐ข๐ฌ, and it works like a J-curve:
with too little stress you donโ€™t grow, with a small dose you get stronger,
and with too much stress you break down.

Like lifting weights makes your muscles stronger, exposing yourself to cold, rain, or intense exercise trains your nervous system, your blood vessels, and even your mindset.

Two months ago, he walked into our beloved park completely on his own initiative.
