We found this story tucked inside one of Pablo’s old diary pages.
It says Odin once climbed Yggdrasil, the World Tree, and hung there for nine nights. No food, no water, wounded by his own spear, all in exchange for the kind of wisdom nobody could simply hand him.
And that’s where he found the runes.
Not just an alphabet, but symbols tied to memory, fate, protection, healing and power. Odin reached for them, took that knowledge with him, and came back changed.
The page was dated February 3rd. That date wasn’t a fixed celebration in ancient Norse tradition, but early February did mark the slow turn from winter toward spring—a time for ancestors, protective spirits and preparing for what came next.
Next to the story, Pablo had sketched Sowilo, the rune of the sun.
Maybe his way of saying that even in the middle of winter, the light is already on its way.
