𝙔𝙚𝙨, 𝙬𝙚 𝙠𝙣𝙤𝙬. 𝘼𝙣𝙤𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙩𝙝𝙧𝙤𝙬𝙗𝙖𝙘𝙠 𝙁𝙧𝙞𝙙𝙖𝙮. 𝘼𝙣𝙤𝙩𝙝𝙚𝙧 𝙩𝙧𝙞𝙥 𝙞𝙣𝙩𝙤 𝙩𝙝𝙚 𝙖𝙧𝙘𝙝𝙞𝙫𝙚𝙨. 📸

This time we found some shots from trade shows through the years. Some things have changed. The stands are bigger. The graphics are better. The hairstyles have developed😄 But the important stuff? That's still very much the same.

And here's the interesting part - many of the faces in these photos are still with us today. Like our CEO Frank Yri, CSMO Maria Guadalupe Elias Barroso and Team Manager Lisbet Alme that were already representing Seaborn back then. Twenty-five years later, they're still in the photos. Alongside Seaborners old and new from across the value chain. Building relationships and shaping the next chapter of Seaborn.

So here's one more trip down memory lane. (Unfortunatelly, we can't promise it's the last one)

From 19-21 August, you'll find us at Booth Q-26, East Hall 2, Tokyo Big Sight, where we're looking forward to reconnecting with customers, partners and friends from across the Japanese seafood industry.

Japan has always held a special place in Seaborn's 25-year history. For a quarter of a century, we have worked closely with our Japanese customers and partners, building relationships that have helped shape who we are today.

We'll bring an updated portfolio of seafood, fresh market insights and plenty of energy. We'll also bring years of Japan experience. We just can't promise our Japanese is as good as it used to be 😀

As BBQ season rolls on, we’re reminded that great salmon and trout can fit almost any occasion.

Whether it’s served on a beautifully plated restaurant dish or straight from the BBQ on a warm summer evening, great products that fits any moment.

Summer is all about good food, good company and those evenings you wish would last a little longer. 🔥☀️ If we at Seaborn had a favourite movie quote, it would probably be:

«Nobody puts salmon in the corner.» 😉

Last week, we joined Team Rynkeby Vestland at Haukeland Hospital as they prepared for their journey to Paris!

Today, they are already on the road, cycling through Europe alongside thousands of riders, volunteers and supporters united by one common purpose: helping children with critical illnesses and their families.

What began as a small cycling initiative has grown into a European movement that has raised significant funds for children with critical illnesses, including more than NOK 100 million for childhood cancer initiatives in Norway.

We are proud to be a small part of this through our sponsorship of Team Rynkeby. Because this is about more than reaching Paris. It’s about creating hope form those who need it most.

Good luck to everyone riding, volunteering and supporting along the way. Every kilometre matters. 💛

Yes, we know – another company digging in the archives 😅
But this isn’t really about looking back. It’s about lessons made and the Seaborners.🐟

From a small office and early trade shows to where we are today. What worked then still works now: relationships, trust, and people who make things happen – even when the market is tough. Thanks to the owners, farmers, customers and colleagues who’ve built Seaborn, year after year 💙

We're proud to be featured in Norsk Fiskeoppdrett on the occasion of our anniversary. We had a good chat with Therese Soltveit right after celebrations in Barcelona — the full story is out now in their latest issue.

In short: from NOK 7.5 million in equity and eight employees in 2001, to where we are today: around 90 Seaborners, customers and partners in more than 60 countries, and revenue surpassing NOK 10 billion in 2025. What we're most proud of is that Seaborn is still a family-owned company, built by and for fish farmers with deep roots in the industry.

We’ve been through a lot over the years, but kept our focus on the opportunities ahead. At the same time, we share a concern about the consolidation in the industry. The diversity of family-owned businesses is a strength for value creation and for the coastal communities – and it's worth protecting.
