BI-nner

BI-nner BI-nner, the student dinner at BI They were 16 people and SBIO covered the costs. The next time 30-40 students attended – and Binner grew fast.

For many years students of BI have come together once a month throughout the semester to make dinner and serve it to fellow students. It started with in 2007 when Nils Jøran Riedl, the university chaplain at BI, invited some students to his home and the students had a wonderful evening chopping, cooking and sharing a meal they made together. By the spring of 2009 the university chaplain held tree

dinners and, more than a hundred students attended and the dinner was moved to KROA and SNAS – and continued growing. Three hundred and fifty students attended at most. The latest years Binner has been held at campus - and it is always full. A fantastic tradition and a wonderful way to get to know each other across cultural and language borders. Binner is open for all students, and each time it is possible to just come and enjoy the meal or you may sign in for the team of volunteers who prepares the food and serve the meal.
