Tasty, Healthy and Sustainable
Our larvae have a nice, nutty taste and a crispy texture. We recommend them as a snack food with a cold drink or to use them as toppings to fortify salads, smoothies, sandwiches, pizzas, pasta dishes, burgers, etc. (Your imagination is the limit!)
Our Mjølmums are 49 percent protein and contain several important nutrients such as iron, magnesium, potassium and zinc. These insects also contain anti-microbial protein and chitin that help strengthen your immune system!
The production of larvae is quite unique in its low resource requirements and low greenhouse gas emissions. So, in addition to being tasty and healthy, Mjølmums are also sustainable. They are a yummy example of the food of the future in a circular economy.
