Pesticide residue in milk? The same pesticide laden vegetable scraps is being fed to dairy animals. Pesticide in feed = pesticide in milk.

Testing at the Butwal Agricultural Produce Wholesale Market found excessive pesticide residues in beans, cucumbers and cauliflower, leading to the destruction of hundreds of kilos of produce. Officials also stopped the sale of milk after pesticide contamination was detected, while the Butwal Sub-Metropolitan City has intensified monitoring and urged consumers to remain cautious.
