After a few very long weeks of the Thermi hanging out at The Finery, we finally have our bestie back!
Our cupboards are looking extremely bare until we knew when Cookidoo could be back to work its magic, so dinner had to be made on very limited supplies. Luckily, the garden is full of tomatoes and capsicums, so we didn't need many extras for this soup. I'm normally all about the creamy recipes when it comes so pumpkin or tomatoes, so I wasn't sure how well this recipe would go down in our house, but it's delish and so so easy! Less than 25 minutes (only a few of those spent in the actual kitchen) and dinner was sorted 👌

Looking for a super easy dinner and a recipe to help use up all those zucchini everyone seems to have at the moment? This one's a winner! I spent less than 5 minutes in the kitchen (just to add the ingredients into the bowl) and the Thermi did the rest! Tastes delicious, I only have the bowl and serving plates to wash, and it got the bosses approval 👍👍👍

Washing and cutting lettuce is just another one of those jobs that doesn't take long usually, but I'm so grateful to have a Thermi to do it for me so I can get on with other things! 30 seconds on dough mode, then drain it through your simmering basket, and it's done 😁

We have been super lucky to be getting a constant supply of fruit off all our wee fruit trees for the last month. Every other year, we've struggled to keep up with it, and a lot has gone to waste. Luckily, this year, we have these amazing containers that keep it super fresh for ages! Unsure how long exactly since we manage to eat it all before it gets too old, but it's at least a couple of weeks! This little princess whipped up a special birthday cake for Riley, who would have been 9 this week 😓
I did manage to convince her to let me crack the eggs in which she hasn't quite mastered yet, but apart from that and a bit of guidance with reading the ingredients, Lily did the rest herself!
This one was super easy, chuck all the ingredients in, mix for 30 seconds, and the cake mixtures done, repeat for the frosting (which was lucky any made it to the cake it was so good).
We've come a long way from the first cake she made for Rileys birthday 😜
