We are so incredibly sad... the sale to the woman from Gisborne has fallen through...at no fault by us :( we aren't sure where we go from here....

Thankyou to Geoff@propertybrokers for selling our Humble wee business. Leaning Rock Cafe will change hands on the 1st of August. Allan and I will be on the ground to help the new owner and we really hope you will support her as you have supported us.
Look forward to seeing you all. We are loving our new home...the sea air and view makes us smile every day 🧡💛💚💙

OMG....Allan has just come up with the bestest name for our new life in Kakanui. He always said to the staff he was retiring to Rarotonga and if he wasn't saying that when Tanyia, Barbs and I were there it was "that's it I am out of here"!!!!
So he has come up with Raro-nui....🤣😅😂To the amazing Tanyia....we couldnt of been the best cafe, cheese roll and custard square, pies Cafe in Alexandra without you and our casual Barbs who never said no...always turned up we love and thank you.
Tanyia especially we have had Anslie Jacinda and Corey your children working for us over the years and they are a credit to you their work ethic was amazing. Barbs we had the awesome Tracy working for us to.
With immeasurable thanks to you both ###

If I haven't managed to answer your comment please forgive me...we are overwhelmed by your love. Allan and Tanyia were there today I am back tomorrow...please don't let the tree works put you off coming to see us..actually funny..Allan went down and asked for a ring of tree as a souvenir ...we spent a lot of time sweeping up wet and dry leaves! Show you it when I am back tomorrow 🤪

It Is time to say farewell. The last potential buyers appear to be time wasters.To this end we will be closing on Friday the 27th of March. We can't thank our regulars enough you have been there for us through our ups and downs and yours also...what a wonderful community we have lived in. Allan is coming back for our last week please call in to say goodbye to us and to the very special Tanyia and Barbs.
This is what we are moving to....a dream come true ###
