Things have been a little quiet and sad around here, unfortunately after a week of vet visits biopsies and X-rays, we had to let our beautiful family dog cross over the rainbow bridge due to an aggressive bone cancer in her leg. Stella wasn’t much a of farm dog and usually sent the sheep running in the opposite direction but still loved being out in the paddocks trying to help. She accepted lambs wearing nappies sharing her space 😂 and any other stray or sick animals I bought into the house, she really gave bull breeds a good name, so loving, gentle and kind. It will be a big adjustment for me getting use to not having her by my side, we have buried her down in my orchard where I she can continue to watch over the place ❤️

Lambs are now weaned off the bottle yay! They are still having a little off their mum, i have had them penned up for a hour waiting to collect everyone’s poo to see how they are all looking worm wise, now that’s done il give Noon a break and move the lambs to a paddock on their own to completely wean, she is ready for them to move on!

Well although I have been quiet on here life certainly hasn’t slowed down much! I’m coming to the end of bottle feeding lambs! They are still having a bit from their mum and a bottle from me each night, they are loving pellets and starting to get a taste for hay & Lucerne. All 3 lambs now are registered:) and Phoenix will be available at weaning. All last years lambs are doing great and starting to act like teens now 😂 Davey is enjoying his time with the cattle learning how to be like them eat and sleep then repeat! He will rest for another few months as I think I quite liked autumn lambing so il probably aim for that again, much nicer weather. Will leave some photos here of all the cuteness 🥰

Beautiful day for the ewes & lambs spa day! Crutching, tagging, drenching, and foot baths all done. We hope everyone has a safe long Easter weekend 🐣

It was a big morning for a little lamb! Amara went to our local school & preschool today for show and tell, the children loved patting her and all had great questions. Amara done well with the nappy and the lead considering she normally lives in the paddock :)

Warning lamb spam 🥰 well we are now supplement feeding 2 lambs and the 3rd is trying to but just chews the bottle they are still left in the paddock 24/7 with Noon (mum) and she is very happy with the co parenting arrangement, Noah my wee farmyard hand is smitten with these new babies ❤️
