Had the R2yr heifers through the yards yesterday to remove bulls, take 400d weights and carcass scanning. Pretty glad to have covered yards.

High quality ultrasound images are taken chute side, sent to Iowa, America to be read for Intramuscular fat, rib and rump fat and eye muscle area. This information is submitted to the Breedplan evaluation and contributes to each animals (and their relatives) EBVs. All yearling bulls were scanned in late November.

A few photos from our stellar day in the office yesterday. We are truely humbled by the support for our breeding program.

Thanks to all our buyers, underbidders and everyone that showed interest in our program this year. We still have a handful of paddock bulls left so reach out if you still need one.

A massive thankyou to everyone that made the day run so smoothly behind the scenes- setting up, serving food and drafting bulls etc.

As always thanks to the team at Tarangower Angus Stud. Great people, great cattle and a pleasure to work with. Congrats on a great sale result.

The feedback we've received this year from previous years bulls has also been extremely humbling- heavier carcase weights out the gate earlier, extra fertility and longevity (bulls and progeny).

We've got some exciting genetics coming forward in the next couple of years. Looking forward to showcasing them.
