Due to a disgusting amount of thefts over the last months we now have a camera in operation in the shed. If you haven’t paid for produce taken yet I suggest you do.. we have you on camera and I’m that sick of people stealing I have no problem plastering your faces over social media. Be good humans!

As always we’ve had a cracking holiday in Cromwell and a big thanks to my folks for looking after things while we were away!
Things outside are quite slow growing after all the rain and not much sun but I’ve had a harvest and the shed has had a restock
We have:
Red and green cabbage 🥬
Spring Onions 🧅
Carrots 🥕
Cauliflower
Tomatoes 🍅
Lettuce 🥬
Basil 🌿
Parsley 🌿
New potatoes 🥔
Courgettes
Cucumber 🥒

Had a great day out at the first Methven Arts & Growers Market ! Thanks to everyone who came and supported myself and Eve Robinson
On my return the roadside stall at 622 Methven Highway has been restocked with:
Eggs 🥚
Lettuce 🥬
Broccoli 🥦
Cauliflower
Leeks
Parsley 🌿
Also heaps of seedlings and yellow irises
Preserves and more vege will be restocked tomorrow because right now it’s feet up and bourbon time!

As well as a huge variety of different seedlings, and a bucket of yellow iris plants for you to pick from

Spring is slowly coming right! The deck/glasshouse has been taken over by seedlings. Not a heap of veges ready to eat yet due to some pretty hard frosts lately but asparagus has just started, lettuce, broccoli, radishes, herbs, silver beet and spring onions can be found in the shed at 622 Methven Highway along with eggs and of course the preserves!
If you can’t make the drive here, you can wander down to the Methven Arts & Growers Market next Sunday and every 2nd Sunday from then on… you’ll find us there with Opuke Eggs and Robinson Botanical selling seedlings, veges, flowers eggs and more! Come down, say gidday and pick up your farm fresh produce!!

After a fantastic couple of weeks away at Cromwell, we are back to ALOT of food! Massive thanks to Bart and Janet who kept everything ticking over while we were gone- Shed has been stocked with a bit of everything with more to come, especially courgettes… don’t be shy on the courgettes! Dahlias are just starting to flower and there are more new tatties, they are on the smaller side but absolutely delish
