Aftermarket isn't an afterthought here.

Steve handles filters, rubberware, servicing parts and cluster repairs - the stuff you actually get your hands on every day. Best quality we can get, at the best price we can offer, on the shelf in Ashburton & Timaru rather than a week away on freight.

And it's all recorded, so audits and grade investigations don't turn into detective work.

Earlier this week we fired up the BBQ for lunch at the DairyNZ Technology Discussion, hosted on one of our DeLaval robotic milking customers’ farms in Pleasant Point.

Thanks to DairyNZ for having us, and a big thanks to our hosts for opening up their farm for the day.

Thinking about robotics for your own operation? Give the team a call on (03) 308 8226. We’re based in Ashburton and Timaru and service farms across South Canterbury and beyond.

Turns out the calves are quick learners 🐄

When the shutter comes down, they know it's time to move on. Before that, the feeder has read the calf's ear tag, checked how much milk she's allowed, and mixed her a fresh batch.

Thanks to Rebekah for showing us how the DeLaval CF1000 runs on their farm. Come and see it for yourself and ask her how it's going.

Buying the shed is one decision. Who supports it afterwards is the one you'll feel every season 🔧

At Glenwillow, Andrea and Stu don't have to be on the farm for the shed to be looked after. If the kids are milking and need a hand, they call and a DeLaval-trained technician is on it.

This is local support that doesn't stop once the install is done.

Details drive results.

Every part of the system - vacuum, pulsation, liners, cooling, wash - works together to lift milk quality, herd health and yield. When it's set up right and maintained properly, the numbers show it.

That's what we're here for. Let's shape your progress.

What does a Milk Quality Specialist do?

Esther explains it best: it's an overview of everything on the farm that touches milk quality. When rubberware and liners get changed and why the timing matters. What chemical is going through the plant each month. Filters, parts, the lot.

Then drying off comes around and the cycle starts again.

Got a question about your plant hygiene or your liner change intervals? She's the one to ask.
