As a business owner with African roots,l have to say my opinion about the issues happening in South Africa against immigrants. Let me acknowledge the Land Owners of New Zealand for providing a good home for many people from all four corners of the World. Thank you 🙏🏾

I stand with fellow African brothers and sisters facing violence in South Africa.

Let’s be clear about one few things, poverty, unemployment, and lack of services aren’t caused by migrants. They’re caused by decades of corruption, mismanagement, and leaders who don’t deliver for their people.

Blaming fellow Africans of which many who fled war, hunger, or collapsed economies won’t build houses, create jobs, or keep the lights on. It only divides us while the real issues go unaddressed.

Migrants are workers, business owners, and neighbors. They pay rent, buy groceries, and contribute to communities across SA. Like any community, there are good and bad individuals. But collective punishment and xenophobia solve nothing.

The true enemy is corruption, not each other and the solution is accountability, not attacks or killings. To those being targeted you are not alone and to the South Africans hurting, your anger is valid, but let’s direct it where it belongs at systems and leaders that have failed you.

One Africa. One people. ❤️
