July….. ✨✨ a little look at the last few weeks here… quite a few sunny days keeping us going, beautiful blankets of fog in the mornings, some favourites starting to bloom, appreciated in corners of our home, hundreds and hundreds of tulips planted with all the excitement for a beautiful spring, cozy bath indulgences after muddy garden work, beach walks, that winter light, massive kumura harvests, smoke house things 💛 while the cold season isn’t easy, I have to say that I am loving all of these moments this winter ✨ hope you are all doing well and cozy.… Spring will be here soon and so will the flowers... can’t wait! Well flower friends…. Winter has well and truly set in! The fire has been lit every night and the cutting garden is slowly being put to rest for a bit. It’s been a busy few weeks tidying up all the raised beds, lots of seed saving which is quite satisfying, so much abundance even after the summer flowers have finished.. spring seedlings are slowly growing and hundreds of tulips will be planted out very soon, full of hope and promise for a beautiful spring ✨✨ I always feel a little lost when the flowers have finished to be honest, but managing a few bunches here and there, and keeping up with my morning beach walks to help lift the spirits! Also my ‘baby girl’ turned 17 today! 🥹 how did that happen so fast?! Anyway.. hope you are all well and finding small pockets of beauty in your day 🫶

All this fluffy goodness and more went out to lovely homes ✨✨ so happy I could share them with you and saved from this weather! Thank you for keeping me busy today 💛 now let’s hunker down with a good movie and your loved ones tonight, fingers crossed this cyclone is not as bad as predicted 🤞🤞
